Rams' Davis Allen: Records sixth one-catch game
Allen secured his only target for four yards during Sunday's 35-7 win against the Jaguars.
Allen, if nothing else, has been a model of consistency through the 2025 campaign; he's recorded either one or two targets and one or two receptions in all seven games he's played in. After starting the year with touchdowns in the first two contests, however, Allen has failed to find paydirt since. With a tepid 8-59-2 receiving line and Terrance Ferguson, Colby Parkinson and Tyler Higbee all sharing targets in a crowded tight-end room, Allen seems likely to continue his meager production. He'll face off against the Saints in Week 9 after enjoying a bye in Week 8.

Rams' Davis Allen: Sees reduction in playing time
Allen secured one of two targets for seven yards during Sunday's 17-3 victory against the Ravens.
Tyler Higbee regained his role as the Rams' top tight end after missing Week 5 with a hip injury, and produced a solid 4-40-1 line on his four targets. Allen only took the field for 21 snaps on offense, slightly more than Terrance Ferguson, who wasn't targeted in the contest. Higbee will likely remain the top option for the Rams at tight end, leaving Allen, Ferguson, and Colby Parkinson (concussion) fighting for playing time in London against the Jaguars in Week 7.

Rams' Davis Allen: Makes two catches
Allen secured both of his targets for 24 yards during Thursday's 26-23 overtime loss to the 49ers.
Despite Tyler Higbee (hip) sitting out and being on the field for 60 percent of the snaps on offense, Allen couldn't make the expanded role translate to positive fantasy production. The two catches and 24 yards both marked season highs for third-year pro, but a suddenly crammed Rams' tight end room has yielded next-to-no production through five games. The Ravens are up next on the schedule in a Week 6 tilt next Sunday, and while they have been one of the league's worst defenses, a four-man rotation at tight end if Higbee returns from injury will make it hard to trust Allen in fantasy lineups.

Rams' Davis Allen: Sees role deteriorate
Allen secured his only target for no gain during Sunday's 27-20 victory against the Colts.
Tyler Higbee played despite suffering a hip injury on Thursday and easily paced the Rams' tight-end group in yards and targets. Colby Parkinson and Allen were each on the field for around 30 percent of the Rams' snaps on offense (which marked Allen's lowest usage of the season) and Parkinson made the most of his limited time on the field, making two catches for 17 yards. Given Allen's eroding snap share, he and Parkinson may be closer to being 2A and 2B on the depth chart, roles that have limited fantasy appeal on a Rams passing attack that goes primarily through Puka Nacua and Davante Adams.

Rams' Davis Allen: Third straight game with one grab
Allen secured his only target for three yards during Sunday's 33-26 loss to the Eagles.
Despite splitting time with Colby Parkinson as the backup to starter Tyler Higbee, Allen was the only tight end for the Rams to make a catch. Allen scored touchdowns in each of his first two weeks this season, but given the extreme lack of targets heading his way and his role in what amounts to a three-way time share on offense, Allen will remain hard to trust in fantasy rosters against the undefeated Colts in Week 4.

Rams' Davis Allen: Logs full practice Thursday
Allen (knee) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
Allen's full participation in Thursday's practice indicates that he is past a knee injury that he likely picked up during the Rams' Week 1 win over the Texans. His availability provides the Rams with crucial depth at tight end, especially if Colby Parkinson (shoulder) is not cleared to play against the Titans on Sunday. Allen and Terrance Ferguson would serve as the Rams' backup tight ends behind Tyler Higbee if Parkinson is sidelined.

Rams' Davis Allen: Limited in practice
Allen (knee) was a limited participant in the Rams' practice Wednesday, Sarah Barshop of ESPN reports.
Allen is one of two of the team's tight ends to be dealing with an injury, as Colby Parkinson sat out practice due to a sprained AC joint. Allen caught one of his two targets for 13 yards and a touchdown during the team's Week 1 win over the Texans, and it remains to be seen if he'll be good to go for Sunday's matchup versus the Titans.

Rams' Davis Allen: Two catches in preseason win
Allen secured both of his targets for 17 yards during Saturday's 31-21 preseason victory against the Cowboys.
Year 3 for the former fourth-round draft pick out of Clemson started relatively quietly, although his meager receiving totals actually paced the Rams' tight end corps as Mark Redman managed just nine yards on his only catch. Tyler Higbee looks poised to reclaim his role as the lead tight end for the Rams, and 2025 second-round pick Terrance Ferguson (groin) also is a lock to make the team. Colby Parkinson sits as the primary competition for the tertiary tight end role, but Parkinson was a disappointment in his first year with the Rams (a modest 30-294-1 line over 17 games), which could give Allen a chance to leap the veteran on the depth chart to start the 2025 campaign.

Rams' Davis Allen: Held without a catch
Allen played seven snaps on offense and 13 snaps on special teams during Sunday's 28-22 NFC divisional-round loss to the Eagles.
The second-year tight end never got going during the 2024 campaign, managing just six catches for 39 yards despite increasing his number of snaps on offense from 182 in his rookie year to 292. Colby Parkinson, who was brought in to act as the starter, eventually slid into a timeshare with Allen and Hunter Long, before Tyler Higbee returned from ACL and MCL injuries to take over as the starter for the final few games of the season. Long is an unrestricted free agent, which will leave Allen and Parkinson vying for the backup role behind Higbee in 2025.
