Lapierre notched an assist in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Canucks.

The helper was Lapierre's first point in five games this season. The 23-year-old is seeing bottom-six minutes as a center -- while Lapierre's listed on the third line, Nic Dowd's defensive play as the fourth-line center typically leads to more ice time down the middle for the latter. Lapierre should stick in the lineup until Pierre-Luc Dubois (lower body) is able to return, which could be as soon as Tuesday versus the Kraken.

Meyers scored twice on three shots in AHL Coachella Valley's 5-4 overtime loss to Bakersfield on Sunday.

Meyers netted his first two goals of the year, but the Firebirds remain winless (0-2-1-0) on the season. The 26-year-old forward hasn't been at the top of the list for a call-up to the Kraken yet, even with Kaapo Kakko (hand) and Frederick Gaudreau (upper body) on injured reserve. Meyers could be an option to replace John Hayden on the roster, and he could also get a look with the big club as a spare forward if Berkly Catton is ultimately returned to his junior club.

Alexandrov logged three assists and two shots on goal in AHL Springfield's 5-1 win over Hershey on Sunday.

Alexandrov was unable to get to the NHL last year and looks ticketed for a similar minor-league role in 2025-26. He has nine points over 51 career NHL appearances. He put up 49 points in 48 regular-season outings for the Thunderbirds in 2024-25 and is off to a hot start with five points in three contests this year.

Lettieri scored a goal on six shots and added two assists in AHL Toronto's 3-2 win over Utica on Sunday.

Lettieri is one of a handful of experienced NHL players on the Marlies' roster, so he'll have plenty of competition for potential call-ups. His performance Sunday accounted for his first scoring contributions in three contests this season. The 30-year-old has always been good for a dash of depth scoring with plenty of physical play when he gets an NHL chance.

Suzuki scored a goal on three shots and added two assists in AHL Chicago's 6-5 win over Rockford on Sunday.

Suzuki played in his first two NHL games last year, but he's not ready to be a regular for the Hurricanes. The 24-year-old would likely benefit from a change of scenery, though Carolina has given no indication that will happen any time soon. Suzuki has five points in three games this season after logging 12 goals and 59 points in 69 regular-season appearances with the Wolves in 2024-25.

Strome notched two assists, two shots on goal, two hits, two penalty minutes and a blocked shot during his 19:42 of ice time in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Canucks.

Strome has been on a monster hot streak over the past three games, picking up multiple points in each contest for a total of eight (two goals, six assists). That accounts for all of the 28-year-old's point production this season -- he went pointless in his first three -- so the point total he ends up with is probably going to end up a shade under the 109 points he's tracking towards now. Regardless, it's still a good start to Strome's season as he looks to build off of a career-high 82 points last season.

Katchouk scored a goal on three shots and added an assist in AHL Syracuse's 5-3 win over Belleville on Sunday.

Katchouk is in his second stint with the Lightning organization, but he missed out on the NHL Opening Night roster. The 27-year-old probably isn't even the top option for a call-up should injuries arise for the Lightning -- Jakob Pelletier offers some skill while Scott Sabourin (suspension) could provide grit once his ban is completed by sitting out games at the NHL level. Katchouk had 13 points over 59 regular-season contests between Chicago and Ottawa in 2023-24, which was his last taste of NHL action.

Wilson had two assists, one shot on goal, seven hits but a minus-2 rating during his 20:57 of ice time in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Canucks.

Wilson has been his usual physical self this season, notching a season-high seven hits Sunday to bring his total to 21, but he's also doing his best to prove his offensive breakout from last season was no fluke. The 31-year-old has nine points through six games this season, one campaign after notching the first 30-30 season of his career last year. If he can continue to blend his normal physicality with his newfound elite offensive touch, he'll be a valuable fantasy option moving forward.

Leonard scored a goal on three shots and delivered four hits during his 14:04 of ice time in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Canucks.

The rookie buried his second goal of the season on the power play Sunday, kickstarting a crazy Capitals comeback attempt that came up just a goal short. Leonard is averaging just 12:24 of ice time so far this season, but does see time on the team's second power play unit. Washington sports a deep group of forwards that may make it tough to find a promotion to the top-six anytime soon, despite the 20-year-old's immense talent.

Sherwood scored a goal on his only shot, blocked one shot and delivered four hits during his 23:15 of ice time in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Capitals.

Due to his status as an all-situations player, Sherwood's 23:15 of ice time was the most among all Canucks forwards. So far, he's really taken advantage of that distinction, and he scored his first power-play goal, and fourth goal overall, of the season. With some injury questions up front for Vancouver following Sunday's game -- both Filip Chytil (upper body) and Jonathan Lekkerimaki (undisclosed) left early with injuries -- it's certainly possible that Sherwood will get increased opportunities in the short term to continue his hot start.

Garland had two assists, four shots on goal, one hit and a plus-1 rating during 22:20 of ice time in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Capitals.

Garland is on a point-per-game pace after notching two assists during Sunday's win. The 29-year-old now has five points in his last three games, a major reason why the Canucks have won all three. His usage on the top line and top power-play unit will give Garland plenty of opportunities to prove that this start is no fluke going forward.

Kapanen (undisclosed) won't return to Sunday's game against Detroit, per Sportsnet.

Kapanen logged only 5:43 of ice time before leaving. He entered Sunday's matchup with two assists and 13 hits across five appearances this season. It's unclear at this time if he will be available for Tuesday's game against Ottawa, but David Tomasek or Curtis Lazar could fill in if Kapanen misses time.

Bolduc scored twice in AHL Ontario's 3-2 win over Colorado on Sunday.

A two-goal game for a defenseman is good work, regardless of league. There's unlikely to be a spot for Bolduc at the NHL level this year barring drastic changes to the Kings' blue line, but he's arguably the most likely of Ontario's defensemen to get a call-up. Bolduc's pair of goals Sunday accounted for his first scoring contributions over four outings in 2025-26.

Chychrun scored a goal on three shots on goal, delivered two hits and held a plus-1 rating during his 23:19 of ice time in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Capitals.

Chychrun found the back of the net for the second time in three games Sunday, now up to five points in six games this season. This is despite no production on the power play thus far which is surely going to change given his pedigree of success with the man-advantage in his career.

Carlson had a goal on three shots on goal but a minus-2 rating during his 23:39 of ice time in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Canucks.

Carlson, a double-digit goal scorer in eight seasons in his career, got on the board for the first time this year Sunday. The 35-year-old is showing no signs of slowing down as a point producer, up to four points through six games this season and coming off of back-to-back seasons cracking the 50-point mark. As long as he remains the top power play quarterback, the production is surely to keep coming for the 17-year Capital.

Myers scored a goal on three shots, added an assist, two hits and two blocked shots during his 26:12 of ice time in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Capitals.

Myers turned a team-high 26:12 of ice time into an impressive two-way performance. The 35-year-old scored a rare goal -- he's had 13 combined over the last four seasons -- and also added an assist to register his first multi-point performance since February. He's also the first over the boards on the penalty kill and had two hits and blocks to complete his all-around day. It's reasonable to expect the hits and blocks to keep coming, but the offense might not be there in the way it was Sunday as much going forward.

Jones was recalled from AHL Rochester on Sunday.

Jones was sent to the minors ahead of the regular season and has recorded four assists and a minus-4 rating over four appearances in the AHL to begin the year. He made 46 regular-season appearances for the Rangers last year and will join the Sabres to provide additional depth after Jacob Bryson landed in the concussion protocol Saturday.

Walman remains out of the lineup Sunday despite being activated off injured reserve, Bob Stauffer of the Oilers Radio Network reports.

Walman, who is returning from an undisclosed injury, took part in warmups in his first time suiting up this season, but he is not in the lineup for the team's game against the Red Wings. The season debut for the 29-year-old will have to wait until at least Tuesday, when the Oilers are next in action.

Lindgren stopped 20 of the 24 shots he faced during Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Canucks.

Lindgren's second start of the season certainly didn't match the success of his first, in which he recorded a shutout. On Sunday, he let four goals in on just 24 shots, good for an .833 save percentage on the night. He is firmly entrenched as the backup behind Logan Thompson currently, but he should be in line to start at least one part of Washington's back-to-back Friday and Saturday this week.

Demko stopped 28 of the 31 shots he faced during Sunday's 4-3 win over the Capitals.

Demko was given a 4-0 lead, and he was able to hold off the furious Capitals comeback just short of the finish line, earning his second straight win. The 29-year-old has seen plenty of shot volume; the 31 shots he faced was his third straight game seeing at least 30 shots on goal. His numbers through four starts are pretty good: 3-1-0 record, 2.03 GAA and a .922 save percentage.

Vanecek will start at home against the Bruins on Sunday, Cole Bagley of KSL Sports reports.

Vanecek will make his second start of the season and will face a Boston team that has lost three consecutive matchups after beginning the year on a three-game winning streak. Vanecek's season debut came in Chicago on Oct. 13, and he allowed two goals on 13 shots (.846 save percentage) in a 3-1 loss.

Dostal is starting Sunday's road game against Chicago, Tracey Myers of NHL.com reports.

Dostal will make his fourth start in the Ducks' first five games of the regular season. Over his previous three outings, he's gone 1-2-0 with a 3.39 GAA and .885 save percentage.

Korpisalo will defend the road crease in Utah on Sunday, Kevin Paul Dupont of The Boston Globe reports.

Korpisalo will start in the second half of a back-to-back Sunday after Jeremy Swayman drew the start against Colorado on Saturday. Korpisalo has made two starts this season, going 1-1-0 with a 3.50 GAA and .851 save percentage.

Skinner will start Sunday's game against the Red Wings, Paige Martin of the Oilers' official site reports.

Skinner will face a red-hot Red Wings team that's riding a four-game winning streak. The 26-year-old has allowed three goals in two of his three starts -- both losses -- and also has a shutout on the season. All told, the goaltender has a 1.97 GAA and .921 save percentage, a strong start to the campaign.
