Top Clippers News

  • Clippers' Jahmyl Telfort: Signs two-way deal

Telfort signed a two-way contract with the Clippers on Saturday, ESPN's Shams Charania reports.

The undrafted rookie was previously on an Exhibit 10 deal, but the Clippers liked what they saw from him in the preseason. Telfort is likely to be a prominent player for the San Diego Clippers in the G League.

  • Clippers' Jahmyl Telfort: Contributes nine points from bench

Telfort finished with nine points (4-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt) and three rebounds across 16 minutes during Friday's 106-103 win over the Warriors.

The undrafted rookie is vying for a spot on the roster after signing a training camp contract, but his immediate future with the team is unclear. The Butler product fell way below expectations during his stint in the Summer League, but the team saw enough potential to bring him along.

  • Clippers' Cam Christie: Supplies 12 points from bench

Christie totaled 12 points (4-6 FG, 3-4 FT, 1-3 3Pt) and two assists across 12 minutes in Friday's 106-103 preseason win over the Warriors.

Christie played 13 games with the parent team last season after spending most of the year in the G League. An encouraging stint in the minors and the subsequent Summer League performance led to extended preseason minutes, but even his excellent lines over the past few weeks won't earn him a significant role. A spot could open up for him next season, but he's likely to spend time with the G League club again.

  • Clippers' Bradley Beal: Drops 12 points in preseason win

Beal compiled 12 points (6-9 FG, 0-3 3Pt), two rebounds, a steal and a blocked shot over 15 minutes in Friday's 106-103 preseason win over the Warriors.

Beal is projected to line up alongside James Harden in the Clippers' backcourt this season, and the team is hoping that the veteran can bring some of the dynamic play he displayed during his tenure with the Wizards. Beal's two-year stint with the Suns was a rough patch, as injuries limited him to 91 games over two seasons. Unlike his final year with the Suns, he'll run with the first unit immediately and could make a substantial fantasy impact if he can stay healthy.

  • Clippers' Yanic Konan Niederhauser: Double-doubles in preseason win

Niederhauser notched 13 points (5-10 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 11 rebounds, three assists and two blocks across 26 minutes in Friday's 106-103 preseason win over the Warriors.

Niederhauser finished as the Clippers' third-leading scorer and was one of four Los Angeles players to reach double figures. The rookie big man also grabbed a game-high mark in rebounds. The No. 30 overall pick in the 2025 Draft is expected to provide center depth for the club in 2025-26, though he could see increased playing time if Ivica Zubac or Brook Lopez (rest) misses time.

  • Clippers' Kobe Sanders: Impresses in preseason win

Sanders supplied 25 points (8-15 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 5-6 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal across 37 minutes in Friday's 106-103 preseason win over the Warriors.

The rookie forward led all players with 25 points while matching Stephen Curry for the game high in three-pointers made. Sanders was selected with the 50th overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft and signed a two-way contract with the Clippers in July. He spent his final collegiate campaign at Nevada, averaging 15.8 points, 4.5 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game across 33 appearances.

  • Clippers' Jordan Miller: Sliding back to bench Friday

Miller won't start in Friday's preseason game against the Warriors, Joey Linn of SI.com reports.

Miller will move back to the bench after drawing the start in Wednesday's win over the Kings. The two-way player is expected to spend most of his time with the G League's San Diego Clippers this season.

  • Clippers' Nicolas Batum: Resting Friday

Batum (rest) will not suit up for Friday's preseason finale against the Warriors, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.

It's the final game of the preseason and Batum is entering his age-37 season, so he'll get a well-earned rest day. Expect more minutes for John Collins and Kobe Brown with Batum watching from the bench.

  • Clippers' Brook Lopez: Won't play Friday

Lopez (rest) won't play in Friday's preseason game against the Warriors, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.

Along with Kawhi Leonard, James Harden, Nicolas Batum and Chris Paul, Lopez will sit out the Clippers' preseason finale. The veteran center is expected to be ready to go for Wednesday's regular-season opener against the Jazz.

  • Clippers' Chris Paul: Resting Friday

Paul (rest) won't play in Friday's preseason game against the Warriors, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.

Along with Kawhi Leonard, James Harden, Nicolas Batum and Brook Lopez, Paul will sit out the Clippers' preseason finale. The veteran point guard is expected to be ready to go for Wednesday's regular-season opener against the Jazz.

  • Clippers' Kobe Brown: Starting Friday

Brown will start in Friday's preseason matchup with the Warriors, Joey Linn of SI.com reports.

Brown hasn't played much for the Clippers this preseason, but it looks like he'll get some time to shine in the preseason finale with L.A. resting some key guys. In his previous three preseason games, Brown has contributed averages of 3.3 points and 3.7 rebounds per contest in 10.5 minutes a night.

  • Clippers' Bogdan Bogdanovic: Off injury report Friday

Bogdanovic (back) isn't listed on the Clippers' injury report for Friday's preseason game against the Warriors, independent NBA writer Justin Russoreports.

Bogdanovic will return to action following a two-game absence due to lower-back soreness. The veteran swingman appeared in 54 regular-season games (four starts) between the Hawks and Clippers last season, during which he averaged 10.8 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.7 assists across 25.0 minutes per contest.

  • Clippers' Bradley Beal: Starting Friday

Beal will start in Friday's exhibition with the Warriors, Joey Linn of SI.com reports.

Beal will be making his Clippers preseason debut Friday night, and with Kawhi Leonard (rest) and James Harden (rest) sitting this one out, he could see a lot of shots falling his way. If Beal can just manage to stay healthy this season, he should be a reliable source of points, triples and dimes as one of the main cogs on Los Angeles' first unit.

  • Clippers' Kris Dunn: Starting Friday

Dunn is in the starting lineup for Friday's preseason game against the Warriors, Joey Linn of SI.com reports.

James Harden (rest) and Kawhi Leonard (rest) are taking the night off, so Dunn will draw the start and be joined in the first unit by Bradley Beal, Derrick Jones, Kobe Brown and Ivica Zubac. With Harden out, Dunn could flirt with close to 30 minutes Friday evening.

  • Clippers' Bradley Beal: To make debut Friday

Beal (knee) will make his preseason debut Friday against the Warriors, NBA reporter Chris Haynes reports.

This will be Beal's first appearance with the Clippers. His preseason was interrupted by a minor knee issue, but it was never expected to linger into the regular season. For now, there's no mention of any restrictions, but it's likely the Clippers will ease him back.

  • Clippers' Bradley Beal: Uncertain for Friday

Beal (knee) said Thursday that he's unsure if he will play in Friday's preseason finale against the Warriors, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.

Beal said the decision will be up to the coaching staff. The guard continues to work his way back from a knee issue and has missed the entire preseason so far, but Beal said he's hopeful of being ready in time for Opening Night.

  • Clippers' Chris Paul: Drops 10 dimes in victory

Paul posted eight points (3-6 FG, 2-4 3Pt), 10 assists, a rebound and a steal across 18 minutes in Wednesday's 109-91 preseason win over the Kings.

Paul will likely end his career with the Clippers, where he made his name as one of the NBA's best point guards in the modern era. Paul isn't likely to draw many starts unless James Harden gets injured or takes a night off. He'll be a great addition to the second unit, where his playmaking skills could put him into the conversation for Sixth Man of the Year by season's end.

... See More ... See Less
  • Clippers' Brook Lopez: Posts 16 points from bench

Lopez logged 16 points (6-8 FG, 4-5 3Pt), four rebounds, a steal and a blocked shot across 18 minutes in Wednesday's 109-91 preseason win over the Kings.

Lopez should be the big man coming out with the second unit, and Ivica Zubac is unlikely to yield many first-unit minutes to his teammates. Since Lopez has a serviceable midrange game and can stretch the floor with apt perimeter shooting, it's possible that he could share the court with Zubac on occasion when John Collins takes a seat.

... See More ... See Less
  • Clippers' John Collins: Scores team-high 24 points

Collins compiled 24 points (7-8 FG, 8-10 FT, 2-2 3Pt) and six rebounds over 18 minutes in Wednesday's 109-91 preseason win over the Kings.

Collins inflicted swift damage in limited minutes and mixed it up enough to make several appearances at the charity stripe. Although we can't make definitive predictions in the preseason, it appears that Collins has the inside track to receive the lion's share of minutes at the four, and his addition should reap significant benefits for the Clippers. With Collins in the lineup, Kawhi Leonard can fully embrace the playmaker role and put less of an emphasis on playing defense off the glass.

... See More ... See Less
  • Clippers' James Harden: Sitting until regular season

Head coach Tyronn Lue said after Wednesday's 109-91 preseason win over Sacramento that Harden will be rested in Friday's preseason finale, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.

Harden and Kawhi Leonard will both get the night off Friday against Golden State but should be a full go for the Clippers' regular-season opener Oct. 22. Harden generated eight points (4-10 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 0-2 FT), three rebounds, three assists and one steal across 23 minutes in Wednesday's win.
