Trail Blazers' Shaedon Sharpe: Signs four-year extension
Sharpe signed a four-year, $90 million rookie extension with the Trail Blazers on Sunday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Sharpe gets a long-term deal to stay with the team that drafted him seventh overall in the 2022 NBA Draft. The 22-year-old pro has shown improvement in each of his three years in the league and has proven to be a high-level scorer. He is coming off a season in which he averaged 18.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 31.3 minutes per game across 72 appearances.

Trail Blazers' Toumani Camara: Inks four-year extension
Camara (knee) signed a four-year, $82 million contract extension with the Trail Blazers on Sunday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Camara gets a long-term deal to stay with the Trail Blazers through the 2029-30 season. The 25-year-old pro has become a key two-way piece for Portland and is coming off a season in which he averaged 11.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.5 steals in 32.7 minutes per game across 78 appearances.

Trail Blazers' Javonte Cooke: Inks two-way pact
Cooke agreed to a two-way contract with the Trail Blazers on Sunday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.
Cooke was waived from his Exhibit 10 contract Friday but quickly re-signed with the Trail Blazers on a two-way deal two days later. The guard averaged 8.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 0.9 steals in 19.7 minutes across eight Summer League games, while posting 16.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.0 steals in 27.4 minutes over 31 G League appearances with the Oklahoma City Blue last season.

Trail Blazers' Shaedon Sharpe: Tallies 20 points in loss
Sharpe posted 20 points (6-17 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 6-7 FT), three rebounds, three assists and one steal across 35 minutes during Thursday's 132-129 preseason loss to Utah.
Sharpe struggled a bit on the offensive end but still managed to reach the 20-point threshold due to his considerable shot volume. He's put up 38 total points over his last two exhibitions and will now set his sights on doing damage during the regular season, which will begin Wednesday against Minnesota.

Holiday registered 24 points (8-13 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, seven assists and two steals across 32 minutes during Thursday's 132-129 preseason loss to the Jazz.
Holiday was an absolute menace from beyond the arc, scoring 18 of his 24 points from deep. He was equally as effective when distributing the basketball, serving up a team-high seven dimes. Holiday has put together two strong performances to close out the preseason, building some momentum heading into Wednesday's season opener against Minnesota.

Trail Blazers' Jerami Grant: Huge night in preseason finale
Grant produced 32 points (7-15 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 13-14 FT), six rebounds, two steals and three blocks across 31 minutes during Thursday's 132-129 preseason loss to the Jazz.
Grant did everything in his power to carry his team to a victory, but the Blazers fell just short. The veteran forward caught fire from beyond the arc, which is where he did a good chunk of his damage. He also got to the charity stripe with regularity, attempting a game-high 14 free throws. Grant was in the starting lineup for the last two matchups of the preseason, and with Deni Avdija (back) and Toumani Camara (knee) dealing with injuries, Grant could be in the starting five for Wednesday's regular-season opener against Minnesota.

Trail Blazers' Deni Avdija: Won't return Thursday
Avdija has been ruled out for the rest of Thursday's preseason game against the Jazz due to upper back stiffness.
Avdija didn't start the second half, and the team announced shortly after that he wouldn't return to the exhibition. Look for Kris Murray and Shaedon Sharpe to see an increase in minutes with Avdija shut down the rest of the way.

This was Holiday's third appearance of the preseason, and it was arguably his best. Overall, he's produced averages of 9.7 points, 5.3 assists and 3.0 rebounds in 21.9 minutes per contest. Holiday is expected to be the starting point guard this season, even when Scoot Henderson returns from his torn hamstring. The duo may share the floor at times, as well.

Clingan chipped in 15 points (6-11 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-6 FT), 11 rebounds, two steals and one assist across 20 minutes in Tuesday's 118-111 preseason loss to the Warriors.
Clingan was one of six Portland players to score in double figures in an efficient outing. Additionally, the second-year big man led all players in rebounds. The 21-year-old was a regular in the starting five toward the end of last season and is expected to be a mainstay in the starting lineup during the 2025-26 campaign.
