2025 MLB playoff bracket: Schedule, scores as Blue Jays force Game 7 vs. Mariners

The Los Angeles Dodgers are heading back to the World Series for the second year in a row. They'll find out their opponent on Monday night. The Toronto Blue Jays have forced a winner-take-all Game 7 in their ALCS matchup against the Seattle Mariners. The Mariners are one win away from their first pennant and trip to the World Series, but they missed a chance to punch their ticket to the Fall Classic on Sunday night.

The Jays won Game 6 behind big showings from Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Trey Yesavage and put themselves one win away from the franchise's first World Series trip since 1993. 

The Dodgers, meanwhile, completed their NLCS sweep of the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday night and will have a week off before World Series Game 1. They are the first reigning champion to return to the World Series since the 2009 Phillies. They'll try to become the first team to win back-to-back titles since the New York Yankees won three in a row from 1998-2000.

The Brewers were MLB's top team in the regular season with 97 wins, and they knocked out the Chicago Cubs in the NLDS. The Philadelphia Phillies, Detroit Tigers and New York Yankees were also eliminated in the LDS, while the Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Guardians, Boston Red Sox and San Diego Padres were sent home in the Wild Card Series.
