Vikings' Blake Cashman: Four tackles in return
Cashman compiled four total tackles (two solo) in Sunday's 28-22 loss to Philadelphia.
Cashman made his return to action after missing the last four games while on injured reserve with a hamstring injury. The linebacker was able to finish tied for fourth on the team in takedowns in the defeat, and he's now registered seven total tackles (four solo) over two games this year.

Vikings' Josh Metellus: Eight stops in loss
Metellus recorded eight total tackles (three solo), including 0.5 sacks, in Sunday's 28-22 loss to the Eagles.
Metellus led the team in stops in the loss, securing at least four tackles for the fifth time in six games this year. Additionally, the safety was able to combine with linebacker Eric Wilson to sack Jalen Hurts in the first quarter. Metellus has now compiled 35 total tackles (22 solo), including 0.5 sacks, while also adding three passes defensed, one of which is an interception, over six contests this season.

Vikings' Eric Wilson: Impressive in Week 7 loss
Wilson recorded six total tackles (one solo), including 1.5 sacks, in Sunday's 28-22 loss to the Eagles.
Wilson maintained his high level of play in Week 7, finishing second on the team in takedowns behind safety Josh Metellus. The linebacker was also able to get to Jalen Hurts on two different occasions, securing his first 1.5 sacks of year. Wilson has now produced 41 total tackles (19 solo), including 1.5 sacks, while also adding two forced fumbles over six games this season.

Vikings' C.J. Ham: Hurts hand in loss
Ham underwent medical evaluation for a left hand injury after Sunday's loss to the Eagles, the Minnesota Star Tribune reports.
Ham had one reception for five yards in the loss. It was his first carry or reception of the season, as he's used almost exclusively as a blocker.

Vikings' Zavier Scott: Hurts wrist in loss
Scott underwent medical evaluation after the Sunday's loss to the Eagles for a right wrist injury, the Minnesota Star Tribune reports.
Scott had four carries for four yards and one reception for two yards on his only target in the loss. He didn't appear to miss time during the game due to the injury so it may not be serious, but he won't have much time to recover with the Vikings playing Thursday at the Chargers.

Vikings' Will Reichard: Makes five field goals
Reichard hit all five field-goal attempts and his lone extra-point try in Sunday's 28-22 loss to the Eagles.
The kicker made a 59-yarder in the first quarter before hitting from 34, 28, 35 and 29 yards, respectively. Reichard has only missed one kick this year, going 13-of-14 on field goals and 12-of-12 on extra points. He should get more opportunities in Minnesota's Week 8 Thursday night clash with the Chargers.

Vikings' T.J. Hockenson: Sees TD catch erased in loss
Hockenson brought in six of nine targets for 43 yards in the Vikings' 28-22 loss to the Eagles on Sunday.
The veteran tight end finished second on the Vikings in receptions and third in both receiving yards and targets. Hockenson's final line would have looked a lot better had a diving attempt at a touchdown catch that he made with just over three minutes remaining would have survived instant replay review. He did match his season high in catches and set a new high-water mark in targets, so he's trending up heading into an intriguing Week 8 road matchup against the Chargers on Thursday night.

Vikings' Carson Wentz: Mixed bag in Week 7 loss
Wentz completed 26 of 42 passes for 313 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions and added four rushes for 28 yards in the Vikings' 28-22 loss to the Eagles on Sunday. He also fumbled once but recovered.
Facing the team that drafted him second overall back in 2016, Wentz put together a fantasy-friendly effort save for his pair of interceptions, one which was a pick-six. The veteran signal-caller connected on completions of 25-plus yards with each of his top three receivers -- Jordan Addison, Justin Jefferson and Jalen Nailor -- and he saw a fourth-quarter touchdown pass to T.J. Hockenson reversed on replay when it was determined the tight end didn't maintain control all the way through his attempted catch. Wentz's yardage total marked his second time eclipsing the 300-yard threshold during his four-game starting tenure, and he projects to remain under center for Thursday night's Week 8 road matchup against the Chargers since the Vikings are expected to give J.J. McCarthy (ankle) one more game before potentially reinserting him into action.

Vikings' Jordan Mason: Another TD in Week 7 loss
Mason rushed 15 times for 57 yards and a touchdown and wasn't targeted in the Vikings' 28-22 loss to the Eagles on Sunday.
Mason saw opportunities limited somewhat by game script at certain points, but the offseason addition put together a serviceable performance that he rounded out with his fourth rushing touchdown of the season via a one-yard run late in the third quarter. He has topped out at Sunday's rushing yardage total in the last three games following a 116-yard, two-touchdown tally versus the Bengals in Week 3, but he should remain the lead back in a Week 8 road matchup against the Chargers on Thursday night as long as Aaron Jones (hamstring) remains on injured reserve.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Season-best showing in loss
Addison brought in nine of 12 targets for 128 yards in the Vikings' 28-22 loss to the Eagles on Sunday.
Addison led the Vikings across the board in receptions, receiving yards and targets with figures that also all qualified as season highs. The third-year pro's longest catch went for 34 yards, so he consistently was able to record significant gains during the high-scoring, back-and-forth affair. Addison has displayed excellent chemistry with fill-in quarterback Carson Wentz after the wide receiver's suspension-delayed start to the season, and he's likely to continue working with him in a Thursday night Week 8 road matchup against the Chargers since J.J. McCarthy (ankle) is unlikely to be ready to return with the short turnaround.

Vikings' Justin Jefferson: Solid numbers in Week 7 loss
Jefferson brought in five of 10 targets for 79 yards in the Vikings' 28-22 loss to the Eagles on Sunday.
Jefferson posted a team-high 40-yard reception during the close contest, but he ultimately played second fiddle to Jordan Addison, who finished with a 9-128-0 line on 12 targets, all team-high figures. Nevertheless, Jefferson's day wasn't a total washout by any stretch, and he extended his streak of 75-plus-yard tallies to five games while also getting to at least five receptions for the fourth consecutive contest. Jefferson hasn't found the end zone since Week 1 against the Bears, however, a matter he'll look to rectify Thursday night when the Vikings and Chargers open the Week 8 slate in Los Angeles.

Vikings' Michael Jurgens: Cleared to play Week 7
Jurgens (hamstring) is active for Sunday's game against Philadelphia.
Jurgens was a full participant in practice all week, and he has been cleared to return from a one-game absence due to a calf injury. He'll reclaim his starting job at center while Blake Brandel serves in a reserve role.

Vikings' Tyler Batty: Will return Week 7
Batty (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Eagles.
Batty missed the Vikings' first five games of the regular season due to a knee injury he sustained in training camp. He was activated off injured reserve Saturday and has been cleared to make his 2025 regular-season debut Week 7. Batty could serve in a prominent role at outside linebacker due to the absences of Andrew Van Ginkel (neck) and Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins (hip).

Vikings' Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins: Not cleared to play Week 7
Ingram-Dawkins (hip) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Eagles.
Ingram-Dawkins was given the questionable tag after being a limited participant in practice all week due to a hip injury, but the rookie fifth-rounder has not been cleared to play against Philadelphia. With Andrew Van Ginkel (neck) also inactive, the Vikings will lean on Jonathan Greenard, Dallas Turner and Tyler Batty at outside linebacker for Week 7. Ingram-Dawkins will look to progress enough in his recovery to be available for Thursday's road contest against the Chargers.
