Chargers' Trey Pipkins: Able to log limited practice
Pipkins (knee) was a limited participant at practice Tuesday.
Pipkins wasn't able to practice at all during the week before sitting out in Week 7 versus the Colts, so his activity Tuesday is a step in the right direction. With that said, he'll probably need to manage a full practice Wednesday to avoid carrying an injury designation ahead of Thursday's game versus the Vikings.

Chargers' Trey Pipkins: Out against Colts
Pipkins (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Colts.
Pipkins is set to miss his second consecutive game, and it appears likely that the Chargers will be without both of their starting tackles against the Colts. He was unable to practice in any capacity prior to being ruled out, so a projected return remains unclear.

Chargers' Trey Pipkins: Not yet practicing
Pipkins (knee) didn't practice Wednesday, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.
Pipkins injured his knee in a Week 5 loss to Washington and didn't practice at all last week before missing this past Sunday's win over Miami. He's certainly iffy, at best, to face Indianapolis on Sunday given his continued lack of practice. Fellow starting offensive tackle Joe Alt (ankle) also didn't practice Wednesday, so the Chargers could again be very shorthanded at the position against the Colts.

Chargers' Trey Pipkins: Out for Sunday
Pipkins (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Dolphins.
The veteran's absence in Week 6 comes as no surprise, as he logged three consecutive DNPs after sustaining an ankle injury in the Week 5 loss to the Commanders. With Pipkins and Joe Alt (ankle) both sidelined Sunday, the Chargers will be without both of their starting tackles.

Chargers' Trey Pipkins: Returns to Sunday's game
Pipkins (knee) has returned to Sunday's game against the Commanders, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.
Pipkins sustained a knee injury in the first half, but he was cleared to return to action for the start of the third quarter. He'll return to his starting spot at right tackle while Jamaree Salyer goes to the bench.

Chargers' Trey Pipkins: Questionable to return
Pipkins (knee) is questionable to return to the Chargers' matchup versus the Commanders on Sunday.
Pipkins sustained the injury in the first half, leaving his status for the rest of the matchup up in the air. Jamaree Salyer should fill in at right tackle if Pipkins ends up being unable to return to the game.

Chargers' Trey Pipkins: Bumped up to starting role
Pipkins is slated to start at right tackle since Rashawn Slater (knee) is out for the season, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Joe Alt will shift from right tackle to left tackle, replacing Slater as the protector of Justin Herbert's blind side. Pipkins will move into the resulting opening at right tackle. The 2019 third-round draft pick has 56 NFL starts under his belt, but Pipkins played guard in 2024 after beginning his career at tackle.

Chargers' Trey Pipkins: Taking part in OTAs
Pipkins (oblique) has been participating in the Chargers' offseason training activities.
Pipkins hurt his oblique in Week 18 of last season and was inactive for the Chargers' wild-card loss to Houston. However, the veteran offensive lineman appears to be back to health and has been on the field with his teammates for OTAs. Pipkins started all 15 games in which he played last season but is projected to serve as a swing tackle during the coming campaign after the Chargers signed Mekhi Becton in the offseason to replace the former at right guard.
