Chiefs' Xavier Worthy: Limited targets again
Worthy recorded three receptions on four targets for 35 yards in Sunday's 31-0 win over the Raiders. He added one rush for 13 yards.
Worthy saw only four targets for the second consecutive game, a concerning trend given the return of Rashee Rice in Sunday's shutout win. Rice immediately came back to lead the team in every receiving stat and will likely remain Patrick Mahomes' favorite target moving forward. That will leave Worthy reliant on big plays to produce strong fantasy performances and make him more of a boom-or-bust option in future weeks.

Chiefs' Xavier Worthy: Touchdown salvages low-usage game
Worthy caught two of four targets for 20 yards and a touchdown while taking his only carry for six yards in Sunday's 30-17 win over Detroit.
Worthy endured another limited practice week in order to suit up for the Chiefs on Sunday. The speedy wideout has missed two-plus games of action due to injury, but he has now started three consecutive games as his health gradually returns to full strength. Worthy made his first trip to the end zone this season in the primetime win, salvaging what would have been an otherwise disappointing night at the office. The 2024 first-round selection averaged 86.0 combined yards from scrimmage over his first two games back from injury, so Sunday's low usage shouldn't be of concern. The biggest threat to Worthy's target share in Week 7 is the scheduled return of suspended WR Rashee Rice, who is likely to reclaim his role as Kansas City's top wideout against Las Vegas next Sunday.

Chiefs' Xavier Worthy: Expected to play Sunday
Coach Andy Reid said Friday that he expects Worthy (shoulder/ankle) to be available Sunday night against the Lions, Sam McDowell of The Kansas City Star reports.
Worthy got the day off Thursday due to the pair of injuries that have bothered him at times this season, but his return to drills Friday seemingly went well, as Reid noted that the wide receiver was "moving around good" and "did everything." Once the Chiefs post their final Week 6 practice report, his status will become known ahead of the weekend.
