Santos (thigh) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Saints.
Santos will sit out a second consecutive game, with his next chance to return coming Week 8 in Baltimore. Santos was sidelined for Monday night's win over the Commanders, giving way to Jake Moody. Bears' Cairo Santos: Questionable for MNF
Santos (right thigh) is listed as questionable for Monday's contest in Washington.
Santos logged three straight full practices coming out of the Bears' Week 5 bye, but the team has yet to clear him for Week 6 action due to a right thigh injury. Chicago has Jake Moody on its practice squad, but if he isn't brought up to the active roster by Monday afternoon, Santos would be in line to resume his role as the Bears' placekicker.

Bears' Cairo Santos: Busy in Week 4
Santos went 4-for-4 on field-goal attempts and made his only extra-point try in Sunday's 25-24 win over the Raiders.
Santos made field goals from 46, 43 and 52 yards in the first half, accounting for all the offense for Chicago as the team went into the break down 14-9. The kicker picked up where he left off in the second half, connecting on a 51-yard field goal in the fourth quarter. Santos has now gone 6-for-7 on field-goal tries, including 2-for-3 on attempts from 50-plus yards, while making all 11 of his PATs through four games this year.

Bears' Cairo Santos: Perfect in win
Santos made his only field-goal attempt and all four of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 31-14 win over the Cowboys.
Santos' field goal came from 30 yards out. The veteran is now two of three on field-goal tries and 10-for-10 on extra-point attempts in 2025. If the Chicago offense can stay hot, he should be in line for enough chances to make him fantasy relevant.

Bears' Cairo Santos: Three points in loss
Santos converted three extra-points in the Bears' 52-21 loss to the Lions on Sunday.
After scoring six points in the season opener, Santos was not called upon to attempt a field goal in the blowout loss against the Lions. Unless the Bears can improve their offensive production, Santos will not be a stable fantasy option.

Bears' Cairo Santos: Misses long kick in Week 1 loss
Santos went 1-for-2 on field-goal attempts and made both of his extra-point tries during the Bears' 27-24 loss to the Vikings on Monday.
Santos connected on a 42-yard field goal late in the second quarter, but his 50-yard attempt at the beginning of the fourth sailed right, which put the Vikings' in good field position and led to a 13-yard touchdown pass from J.J. McCarthy to Justin Jefferson six plays later. Santos is coming off a 2024 campaign in which he connected on just 21 of 25 field-goal attempts, but his numbers would improve in 2025 if the Bears' offense -- led by first-year head coach Ben Johnson -- is able to move the ball down the field more effectively.

Bears' Cairo Santos: Concludes low-volume season
Santos converted his lone field-goal attempt in the Bears' 24-22 win over the Packers on Sunday.
Santos posted six or fewer points in each of Chicago's last six games. In addition, the kicker recorded more than seven points in two of 17 games. Normally, Santos is one of the most accurate kickers in the NFL, but his 84 percent field-goal rate was easily the worst during his five years with the Bears. Unless Chicago is able to put together a much better offense next year, Santos may not be able to reach his potential for fantasy football. The veteran is under contract with the team through 2027.

Bears' Cairo Santos: Succeeds on only kick Thursday
Santos made his lone field-goal try and didn't attempt any extra points in Thursday's 6-3 Week 17 loss against Seattle.
Neither offense had much success in the low-scoring matchup, and Santos was given only one opportunity to score points. He came through in that instance, nailing a 42-yard field goal in the second quarter. Santos hasn't missed a kick since Week 12, but he's had very low volume of late with just four field goals over his past five contests. He's also logged a modest five extra points during that span, making him an uninspiring, low-floor option in fantasy leagues.

Bears' Cairo Santos: Makes lone field-goal try Week 16
Santos made his only field-goal attempt and converted both his extra-point tries in Sunday's 34-17 loss to Detroit.
Santos was successful when called upon, nailing a 30-yard field goal in the third quarter after making both of his extra-point attempts earlier in the contest. The veteran kicker is 19-for-23 on field-goal tries this season, which puts him on pace for his first season below a 90 percent success rate since 2021. Santos is also 22-for-23 on point-after attempts this year.

Bears' Cairo Santos: Seven points in defeat
Santos was perfect on two field-goal attempts in the Bears' 30-12 loss to the Vikings on Monday.
Santos continues to be limited by the inability of the Chicago offense to put up big scoring totals. On the season, the kicker has posted more than seven points twice, and he remains a low-floor fantasy option.

Bears' Cairo Santos: One point in defeat
Santos did not attempt a field goal in the Bears' 38-13 loss to the 49ers on Sunday.
Santos attempted one extra point in the blowout loss. There have only been two occasions all season in which the kicker has scored seven points, making him a low-upside fantasy option.
