Raymond caught all three of his targets for 17 yards in Monday night's 24-9 win over Tampa Bay.
Raymond was able to secure his first catches since Week 4, playing 42 percent of the team's offensive snaps in Week 7. The wide receiver still appears to have the edge on Isaac TeSlaa for the No. 3 spot on the depth chart, logging 18 more offensive snaps than the rookie in the contest. Raymond has caught nine of 12 targets for 64 yards over seven games this season.

It's an upgrade for Raymond after he logged a DNP on Wednesday following his injury in last Sunday's win over the Bengals. Raymond has been operating as the Lions' third receiver early on this season, securing six of nine targets for 47 yards, but rookie Isaac TeSlaa figures to make a move on the veteran at some point in 2025. In addition to his duties on offense, Raymond has returned two kickoffs for 60 yards and 12 punts for 125 yards and one touchdown.

Raymond (neck) did not participate in Wednesday's practice.
The veteran wide receiver sustained a neck injury on a punt return during the second quarter of the Lions' Week 5 win over the Bengals. Raymond wasn't able to return to the game, and the injury has prevented him from participating in the first practice of the week. He'll have two more opportunities to practice in at least a limited capacity ahead of Sunday's road tilt against the Chiefs. Running back Jacob Saylors could fill in on punts as a returner if Raymond is not cleared to play.

Raymond was able to match his season highs in catches and targets, but he was still a rather unimpactful part of what the team did on offense. The wide receiver did make his mark on special teams, returning a punt for a score in the fourth quarter, which was his first trip to the end zone in any capacity since Week 8 of the 2024 campaign. Raymond once again was quiet Week 2, playing just 32 offensive snaps in Detroit's dominant victory. The wide receiver snagged his only catch of the day on the team's third possession of the contest, but he did garner 15 more offensive snaps than rookie Isaac TeSlaa, so Raymond does still appear to be the No. 3 option at his position behind Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams. With many mouths to feed on offense in Detroit, Raymond doesn't offer much weekly upside for fantasy managers, and his greatest impact for the team comes as a punt returner.

Lions' Kalif Raymond: Three catches in playoff loss
Raymond caught all three of his targets for 37 yards while also adding a 21-yard kick return in Saturday's 45-31 NFC divisional-round playoff loss to the Commanders.
Raymond reeled in his most receptions since Week 7 on Saturday, finishing fourth on the team in catches behind Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jahmyr Gibbs and Sam LaPorta. The wide receiver made his return to the field in Week 18 after missing five games with a foot injury. When healthy, Raymond provides the Lions with another field-stretcher at wide receiver, and he'll enter 2025 on the final year of his contract with Detroit.
