Moore finished with two receptions on five targets for 59 yards in Sunday's 44-22 loss to Dallas.
Moore continued filling in for injured starters after popping up with a 3-46-1 receiving line against the Bears in Week 6. Jaylin Lane (3-60-0) finished as Washington's leading receiver in an otherwise forgettable overall performance against a division rival. Moore could be find himself in another elevated role against the Chiefs if Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) and Deebo Samuel (knee) remain sidelined next Monday.

Moore should see a boost in targets in Sunday's Week 7 clash against the Cowboys due to the inactive status of Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) and Deebo Samuel (heel), as well as the absence of Noah Brown (IR, groin/knee).
The Commanders' receiving corps has suffered some serious attrition in recent weeks, and Moore is one of the last men standing for the time being. Moore was unable to catch his only target in Sunday's 27-10 win over the Chargers.
For the second consecutive week, the 32-year-old operated as the Commanders' No. 2 wideout while Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) and Noah Brown (groin/knee) remained out. During that span, Moore has played 72 offensive snaps and rushed once for nine yards but failed to catch any of his four targets. If McLaurin and Brown miss their third consecutive game in Week 6 against the Bears, Moore will likely play a similar role on the Commanders' offense.

Moore went without a catch on three targets and rushed once for nine yards in Sunday's 34-27 loss to the Falcons.
The veteran wideout played 36 offensive snaps and operated as Washington's No. 2 wideout without Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) and Noah Brown (groin) in Week 4, but it didn't lead to an increase in production. Moore has now caught three of six targets for 59 yards over three appearances this season. Moore caught both of his targets for 25 yards in Sunday's 41-24 win over the Raiders.
Moore's 59 percent route share was tops among Washington wide receivers, albeit on an unusual afternoon that saw OC Kliff Kingsbury deploy deep rotations and a slew of players at each position. Terry McLaurin ended up suffering a quadriceps injury in the second half, potentially opening the door for Moore to have a considerable role again in Week 4 at Atlanta, although playing time won't necessarily lead to much production.

The Commanders signed Moore from their practice squad to their active roster Monday.
Moore was elevated for Week 1 against the Giants and caught his only target for a 34-yard reception. He didn't get elevated for Week 2, but he will now get a spot on the 53-man roster after Washington placed Austin Ekeler (Achilles) and Deatrich Wise (quadriceps) on injured reserve Monday. Chris Moore: Released by Washington
The Commanders released Moore on Tuesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Moore appeared in five regular-season games for the Cardinals last season but was released in November. He signed with Washington's practice squad Dec. 26 and re-signed with the team following the season. The 32-year-old caught one pass for five yards this preseason.

Commanders' Chris Moore: Staying with Commanders
The Commanders signed Moore to a reserve/future contract Tuesday.
Moore spent the 2024 regular season on the Cardinals' and Commanders' practice squads. He was elevated to Washington's active roster for the NFC wild-card game against Tampa Bay, during which he played 12 offensive snaps without drawing a target. Moore will be able to participate in OTAs, minicamp and training camp while working his way to earn a spot on the Commanders' 53-man roster for the 2025 campaign.

Moore signed with the Commanders' practice squad in late December after being cut from the Cardinals' practice squad Nov. 5.
