Select Ben’s Original Ready Rice products recalled for possible small stone contamination.Long Grain White, Whole Grain Brown and Long Grain & Wild Rice varieties were affected.The rice was sold at Target, on Amazon and more retail locations nationwide. There’s an active recall on select Ready Rice products sold nationwide, according to the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA). This is due to a possible foreign matter contamination. The Ben’s Original products affected were sold at retail locations such as HEB, Target, Piggly Wiggly, United Markets and on Amazon. The following rice products are being recalled, including their impacted batch numbers and printed best-by dates: Item Batch Code Best By Date Ben's Original Ready Rice Long Grain White Rice 533ELGRV22; 534ALGRV22 8/2026 Ben's Original Ready Rice Whole Grain Brown Rice 534AMGRV22; 534BMGRV22; 534DMGRV22 8/2026 Ben’s Original Ready Rice Long Grain & Wild Rice 533BMGRV22; 533CLGRV22; 533CMGRV22 8/2026 Check your pantry for these products, and if you have Ready Rice that matches the above recall information, dispose of it or return to your place of purchase or contact the company for a refund. The rice products may contain small stones, posing a choking or injury hazard. If you are experiencing any signs of injury or illness after consuming the recalled rice, talk to a healthcare provider immediately.
