Jennifer Aniston Reveals the Arm Workout She Does Every Day on Set

Jennifer Aniston has been a style icon for decades. Many of us tried to replicate “the Rachel” haircut from her Friends days in the ‘90s, and when the 56-year-old actor and producer appears on screen today, we still take notes on her stunning appearance. Recently, Aniston appeared on a segment of Harper’s Bazaar UK’s “Inside My Beauty Bag” series, where she showed viewers what she carries with her on the daily, from mineral sunscreen to a band that helps her sneak in an arm workout when she has a bit of downtime.

Aniston said her beauty philosophy is simple. “Whatever works,” she shared. “If it’s not broken, don’t fix it … I don’t really follow trends. I like to stick with what works for me.”

She also said she feels “most beautiful” when she’s taking care of herself, which happens to involve carrying a small piece of workout equipment with her whenever she can. 

“I don’t ever travel without this,” Aniston said as she pulled a resistance band-type piece of equipment from her bag. “This is my P.band. If you’re bored and have nothing better to do and are sitting around waiting on set, which happens, or just in between takes or setups or you’re on vacation or you’re watching a TV show, this is just really good for working out and for giving your arms a little extra.”

Aniston’s P.band comes from Pvolve, a workout brand that pairs functional movements with resistance equipment to help improve strength, mobility and stability. The glove design keeps the band in place, and I love that I never have to worry about it snapping back, rubber band-style, and hurting me. Until I saw Aniston’s video, however, it hadn’t occurred to me to take my P.band on the go. Since it’s small, foldable and lightweight, it makes total sense. I think I’ll be tossing it into my own beauty bag in the future, so I can squeeze in some arm exercises while waiting to pick up my kids or sitting in the forever-long coffee shop drive-thru line.
