About The In-Person Workshop

Join us for an informative session on the art and science of proper tree pruning. Well-executed pruning offers a host of benefits, from reducing the risk of whole tree, branch, and stem failure to ensuring safe clearance for buildings, pedestrians, vehicles, and utility lines. When done correctly, pruning can improve both the health and appearance of trees, contributing to a safer and more beautiful landscape. However, improper techniques can compromise a tree’s stability, damage its health, and detract from its natural form. This event will guide participants in understanding best practices for pruning with purpose—beyond aesthetics—to promote long-term tree vitality.

This event is being offered at no charge to participants.

Space is limited. Preregistration is required.
