Nutrient Management Decision Tree

To use the Decision Tree, go to the next worksheet tab, named "Decision Tree" and use the other worksheets when needed. After using any worksheet, click back to the Decision Tree.

As you use the Decision Tree, information that you need to add is highlighted yellow. Gray boxes indicate the result of a calculation.

You will also see an orange box in the Decision Tree. This is the nitrogen credit you earned by previous practices like cover cropping and adding compost or manure. This value is subtracted from your crop's nitrogen need.

Remember to remove old values before entering new ones to make sure you get an accurate result.
