About the In-Person Workshop

Internal parasites have developed resistance to many deworming products on the market. Therefore, it's important to deworm only those animals that require treatment. Learn how to collect manure samples and conduct fecal egg counts that can be utilized to make treatment decisions.

Event Details

During this two-hour, hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to set up and count eggs in fecal samples, one method in determining whether animals require parasitic treatment.

Participants may bring a manure sample from one of their own animals for analysis. Please refer to the instructions for collecting and handling fecal samples.

Space is limited. Preregistration is required.
