No matter what the situation, spring is a wonderful time to help your preschooler get ready for Kindergarten.

While there are many great web-based resources and computer games for helping young children learn basic skills, it is so important to engage in hands-on learning as well.  Screen time involves the use of one, maybe two senses while hands-on activities involve all of the senses. This increases a child's capacity to learn and recall information.  And best of all, your child gets to spend time interacting with you- their first and best teacher!
