Learn From My Past Warm-Up Mistakes👇🏼

Holding a couple stretches
 • A couple is not enough
 • Holding stretches/static stretching isn’t as effective pre-workout

Using a resistance band to do 50 kickbacks before my workout to “activate”
 • This just wastes energy you can put into your lifts

I wouldn’t warm-up because “I don’t have time” or “my muscles don’t need it, they aren’t sore”
 • just because you aren’t sore, doesn’t mean your body shouldn’t be mobilized
 • I’d rather you eliminate an exercise to actually warm-up properly

Never do warm-up/lighter sets
 • Jumping into the heaviest weight you can lift on your first set with no warm-up can cause injury
