Research

Research is conducted by the Institute of Urban Landscape, the Institute of Constructive Design and the Centre for Building Technologies and Processes. The Institutes ensure the close linking of research and teaching in the Master studios.

The Institute of Urban Landscape (IUL) investigates landscape changes, settlement areas and the relationship between infrastructure facilities and territory. Partners come from public authorities, or are private and public investors.

The Institute of Constructive Design (IKE) examines general questions of interaction between construction, space, form and context in construction design. Partners come from the construction and building industry.

The Centre for Building Technologies and Processes (CBP) conducts research in the fields of construction management, construction processes and construction economics as well as hybrid lightweight construction.
