Institutes

The Institute of Urban Landscape (IUL), the Institute of Constructive Design (IKE) and as well as the Institute for Building Technology and Process (IBP) combine all research, training and service activities in the fields of Architecture, Design and Civil Engineering.

The aim of the IUL is to enable architects to explore, enhance, and concisely design urban landscape. The IKE sees itself as an interactive hub for the research of design-constructive topics. The IBP deals with topics and aspects of the construction industry against the background of a generalistic professional understanding. The Fibre-Reinforced Plastics section at the IKE is dedicated to researching and developing material-compatible structures, components and constructions made of fiber reinforced plastics (FRP) for the construction sector.
