  Enterprise As we know,every launch of Odoo comes up with a very useful and creative feature which satisfies the end user in many ways. Of that, the Point of sale module which manages the retail sale of Odoo 18 has many new features. In this slide, let’s discuss the revamp points in the PoS module. Introduction

  Enterprise Let’s dive into the Point of Sale module. We’ll be able to find different sessions over there like the below snap. We can just open any one of them by clicking on the Open register button. We can run multiple sessions in Odoo 18 PoS

  Enterprise By clicking onthat, the shop gets opened and we can give the details like opening cash and opening note also if needed and click on the Open Register button.

  Enterprise We can seethe changes and new features in the Odoo 18 like the Category wise color change and the arrangements have also some changes. Comparing with the older versions of Odoo, there are some slight changes over the billing area and Order line and below buttons. Everything is simplified with the new Action button on the screen.

  Enterprise Just click onthe Actions button to see the wizard which asks us for the needed actions such as Add Customer notes, Reset Programs, Reward, Refund, view the Quotation/Order, Refund, etc.

  Enterprise Likewise, from themain screen, clicking on the Customer button, we get the Customer details page with some new changes in the view. Clicking on the three lines menu marked as below, there comes the option to Edit customer details, see their orders and deposit money using the allowed payment methods like cash, bank, etc.

  Enterprise Now, after addingthe customer, their name comes on the billing screen as below. Now, let’s click on the Payment button to move forward

  Enterprise This click onPayment button takes us to the new styled payment page where we can select the Payment method. Also, we can enable the checkbox named Invoice if we need to invoice it.

  Enterprise Then the Validatebutton becomes active and we can see the payment method selected and the remaining to return over the screen. All these features in Odoo 18 are arranged in a slight different way so that the retail sale can be very user friendly and simple.

  Enterprise From the beginningto end, the top line of the screen shows the order number on top left corner. Also the menu on top right corner allows some features like Install App, Goto Backend, Close register, etc.
