Associate Research Scientist - Software, Initiative for Computational Catalysis, Flatiron Institute

Huanchen Zhai joined the Initiative for Computational Catalysis (ICC) at the Flatiron Institute in November 2024 as an Associate Research Scientist – Software. He applies and develops software for high performance quantum chemistry algorithms, for solving electronic structure problems in catalytic systems. He received his Ph.D. in theoretical chemistry from University of California, Los Angeles in 2019. From 2019 to 2024, he was a postdoctoral scholar in California Institute of Technology.
