1. Soak 1/2 cup yellow mung dal for 6-8 hrs or overnight, throw the soaked water, and steam the mung dal with some salt for 5-7 minutes. Drain the water and mash the dal well.  ✅ Add 1 cup oats, grated carrot, grated onion, grated cucumber, and chopped coriander leaves to the mashed dal. Mix in 1 tablespoon ginger-chilli paste for an extra kick.  ✅ Now, add the spices: salt, chat masala, red chilli powder, a pinch of turmeric, garam masala, cumin seeds powder and coriander seeds powder.  Squeeze in some fresh lemon juice and mix everything thoroughly.  ✅ Shape the mixture into tikkis (small patties). Heat a pan with a little oil and cook the tikkis, flipping until golden brown on both sides.
