We take an active role in many community initiatives that make our region better for all who call it home. We convene, partner and are involved with individuals and organizations spanning various sectors to respond to continual and emerging needs.
Affiliation is the process through which a community or group of individuals become associated with (and a legal part of) Tulsa Community Foundation. Affiliating allows community leaders to streamline operations, while providing increased opportunities to develop and grow a solid base of philanthropic support.
Through working with various entities, Tulsa Community Foundation has led efforts to create successful public-private partnerships in areas of civic enhancement, beautification and economic development. One key project was the privatization of the Tulsa Zoo in 2010.
Through recommendations provided by fund advisors and contacts, Tulsa Community Foundation processes more than $300 million in grants annually to organizations across the country.
Tulsa Community Foundation also administers grant application cycles for a select number of field of interest funds. Current opportunities exist for organizations working in the arts, healthcare and financial literacy.
