Tulsa Community Foundation has been assisting those impacted by emergency hardships and disasters since 2005 through administering employer-sponsored assistance funds, participating in local response relief efforts and collaborating in national funder partnerships.
In 2024, TCF distributed more than $2 million in emergency assistance to individuals and organizations.

Tulsa Community Foundation began assisting corporations in creating emergency assistance and disaster relief (EDR) programs for their employees in 2005. EDR programs are designed to assist qualified employees with personal needs during times of unexpected and unavoidable emergencies which cause financial hardships.
During times of local disasters, Tulsa Community Foundation partners with organizations such as the Tulsa Area United Way in response efforts. TCF collects donations and works with community partners to distribute funds to vetted organizations that are providing immediate and long term relief assistance, with a special emphasis on those serving low-income, elderly, disabled and other special needs populations.
Tulsa Community Foundation is an active member of the Philanthropic Preparedness, Resiliency, and Emergency Partnership (PPREP) created by the Funders Network. PPREP was created to support community foundation disaster preparedness, strengthening the relationships between community members and organizations to maximize impact in preparing for and recovering from disasters.
