Here's a template you can use for proposing a session for the Wikidata and Sister Projects Days 2025. Feel free to copy its content and create a new section below! (use the session title as the section title). Please note that sessions are not automatically accepted: because we have limited slots in the schedule, we will make a selection of sessions that can make it to the program of the event. You can propose a session until March 31st April 30th (EoD anywhere).
Here's some ideas of the kind of session we would like to hear about:
- Short presentations or demos of Wikidata integrations into other Wikimedia projects, such as infoboxes, lists, templates and modules.
- Showcases of tools, gadgets, or applications that use Wikidata to support editing workflows across projects.
- Examples of Wikidata providing data consistency or supporting smaller language Wikipedias.
- Connecting projects, providing multilingual support, referencing, citations, and metadata in other projects.
- Discussions on what challenges and opportunities Wikidata currently faces for connecting with the sister projects.
- We're keen to hear about any success stories or creative uses you’d like to share!
Thanks in advance for your proposals! Danny Benjafield (WMDE) (talk)

- Session title: Using the Beam-me-up tool to fuse Wikidata information into FactGrid
- Format: Presentation + Q&A (25min)
- Speaker(s) or facilitator(s): Olaf Simons (talk)
- Short description of the session: Tim Holzheim's Beam-me-up tool is one of the most used gadgets in FactGrid. It fuses Wikidata information into FactGrid on selective requests. It understands the languages of both Wikibases, and it is able to create or augment items where needed. The tight alignment with Wikidata speeds up work on FactGrid, it helps us to avoid double records (as our Wikibase does not allow to link to a same Wikidata item from two of our items), and it enhances our readability in the upcoming world of federated queries and knowledge graphs. Not everyone, however, is happy with the consequences since FactGrid is not designed to act as a Wikidata copy - nor do we know whether we want to support the Wikidata data modelling throughout our base.
- Prerequisite knowledge: none
- Suggestions of time and date: none
- Preferred presentation mode: Live

This can be really helpful when you are running an event and want to create an event page with some target pages to be worked on. We will discuss the pros and cons of each tool, and how to use it in a workflow. Tools will include Listeria, the Wikilist tool, and Petscan. DrThneed will present her workflows for using the tools, and allow time for discussion to participants can also contribute their ideas and experiences so we can all learn from each other.
