 • ▢3 cups Water for soaking
 • ▢2 Green Chili Pepper finely diced
 • ▢1 teaspoon Ginger grated
 • ▢⅓ cup Red onion finely chopped
 • ▢3 tablespoon Cilantro leaves chopped
 • ▢1 teaspoon Salt adjust to taste

 • 2 cup moong dal yellow mung lentils
 • 10 gm ginger
 • 1 tsp Salt
 • 1/4 cup Water
 • 1-2 green chilies chopped
 • Coriander leaves chopped
 • 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
 • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder

Paneer stuffing for cheela
 • 1 tbsp oil
 • 1 tsp cumin
 • 10 gm ginger chopped
 • 1 tsp green chilli
 • 3/4 tbsp Onion chopped
 • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
 • 1/4 tsp red chili powder
 • 1/4 tsp Salt
 • 2 tbsp Coriander leaves

Soak yellow moong dal overnight or atleast 5 hrs. Blend this into a smooth paste along with ginger and green chilies. Transfer to a bowl and add hing (asafoetida),cumin powder,turmeric powder,red chilli powder,salt .add water if needed to get the desired consistency.mix well.  Now heat a cast iron pan and grease it well . Spread a laddle full of the prepared batter. Cook it with some oil . Add stuffing as per your choice. I have added some grated paneer and fresh coriander.
