9 cups of flour

1 1/2 tablespoons of salt

1/4 cup of granulated sugar

3 large eggs

3 cups of lukewarm milk

1/2 stick of melted unsalted butter

3 teaspoons of yeast

Instructions

Heat your oven 350

add 3 teaspoons of yeast to your 1 cup of melted lukewarm milk & butter.Make sure it is not hot milk. Hot milk will kill your yeast. Sprinkle a pinch of granulated sugar to the top of your milk ,yeast mixture. This is for the yeast to activate quicker! Set aside until it foams.This should take around 10 minutes to activate

Once the yeast is ready add the flour to your mixing bowl, 1/4 cup of granulated sugar, 1 1/2 tablespoons of salt to your bowl.Mix on low, If you have a kitchen aid use your dough hook attachment now .

Recipe🔽  Yeast activation:   • 1 cup Warm Water   • 3 tbs sugar   • 2 1/4 tsp yeast   Dough:  • 2 3/3 cups flour   • 1/2 tsp salt   • 2 eggs   • 5 tbs softened butter  Step 1: Add warm water, sugar and yeast to a bowl and let the yeast activate for 10minutes.  • Step 2: Once yeast has been activated add your flour, eggs, salt and butter then kneed for 15-20 minutes until enough gluten has been formed.   • STEP 3: let the dough rest for 1 hour   • Step 4: Kneed out the dough and cut the dough into squares  • Step 5: Rest the dough for another half hour   • Step 6: once dough has been rested fry them on medium heat on each side until you get a golden brown color.  • Step 7: Let your beignets cool down a bit before adding the powdered sugar. Here’s the recipe: 2 tbsp active dry yeast 2 cups warm water 2 eggs 2 tsp salt 1/2 cup granulated sugar or honey 1/2 cup melted butter 6 1/2 cups flour  Mix the wet ingredients together and then slowly incorporate the flour until a dough ball forms and is no longer sticky. Knead for 2-3 mins until smooth. Cover and let rise for 1-2 hrs, until double. Punch down and shape into 32 rolls. Place on a sheet pan and cover, let rise for another 30 mins or so until puffy. Bake at 350 for 15-18 mins, until golden brown!  #rolls #bread #baking #homemade
