Here’s a simple Chicken Biryani recipe:  1. Marinate 500g chicken with 1/2 cup yoghurt, 1 teaspoon turmeric, 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste, salt, and garam masala. Let it rest for at least 30 minutes.  2. Cook 2 cups of basmati rice in boiling water until it's 70% cooked. Drain and set aside.  3. Fry 2 sliced onions in oil until golden brown. Set aside half for garnish.  4. In the same pan, sauté whole spices (bay leaves, cloves, cardamom) and then add the marinated chicken. Cook until the chicken is browned.  5. Layer the chicken with the partially cooked rice in a pot. Add fried onions, saffron milk, and a sprinkle of fresh coriander.  6. Cover and cook on low heat for 20-30 minutes until the chicken and rice are fully cooked.  7. Serve hot with raita or salad.

 • 2 tbsp Ginger, Garlic Paste
 • 1 tbsp Green Chilli paste
 • 1/2 Cup (approx) Fried Onions
 • 1 tbsp Oil.

FOR RICE!
 • 3 ltr Water
 • 3 Cup Rice
 • Salt To Taste
 • 2 Green Chillies
 • 3 Lemon Slices
 • 2 Bay Leaves
 • 4 Green Cardamom
 • 1 Black Cardamom
 • 1 Cinnamon Stick
 • 1 Star Anise
 • 5 Black Peppercorns
 • 2 Stands Mace
 • 2 Cloves
 • 1 tbsp Shahi Jeera
 • 1 tbsp Oil.

FOR CHICKEN!
 • 1/4 Cup Oil
 • 4 to 5 Green Cardamom
 • 1 Black Cardamom

For Meat;   • 2 medium chicken (16 pieces)   • 1 cup full fat Greek yogurt  • 2 tbsp salt  • 2 tbsp kashmiri chilli powder   • 1 tbsp chilli flakes   • 2 tbsp coriander powder   • 2 tbsp cumin powder   • 1/2 tbsp turmeric   • 2 tbsp biryani masala(watch previous biryani video for recipes)   • 6-7 garlic cloves  • 3 inches ginger root  • 4 large tomatoes   • 2 green chillies   • 1 cup fried onions   • 1/2 cup mint chopped   • 1/2 cup coriander chopped   Add all ingredients in a bowl and Marinate for 30 minutes.   Use the same fried onions oil for meat. Add in a pot; heat and add meat. Cook until tender and oil separates.   For Rice;   • 1.5 kgs Rice (
