As a welcoming anchor for Dana-Farber's Longwood Medical Area campus, the Yawkey Center for Cancer Care embodies Dana-Farber's unwavering commitment to compassionate care, treatment innovation, and research discovery. 

Created with guidance from many patients and families, the Yawkey Center was built to advance clinical care, optimize patient safety, enhance the patient experience, and provide patients with a welcome and nurturing environment. The Center's 275,000 square feet of clinical and support space accommodates 100+ exam rooms, 150+ infusion spaces, and 20 consultation rooms. 

Named to honor the late Tom and Jean Yawkey in thanks for their foundation's leadership support, the Yawkey Center for Cancer Care enhances patients' experience of Dana-Farber's personalized and compassionate cancer care, which is guided by laboratory research, enabled by sophisticated technology, and dedicated to each patient's emotional well-being.

The Longwood Medical Area campus fosters collaboration between researchers and clinicians, with our treatment centers connected by bridges to their related research laboratories in the Richard A. and Susan F. Smith Research Laboratories Building.
