Warning services for areas at risk of flooding are provided for England, Wales and Scotland. BBC Weather works closely with its partners to raise awareness of weather events affecting Northern Ireland. Specific flood warnings, however, are not currently issued for Northern Ireland.

The next high tide at Richmond at 05:00 AM on 25/10/2025, may result in brief low-level flooding of riverside roads and open spaces. Astronomical tide levels are falling. The river flow at Teddington Weir is 28 cubic metres per second and is rising slowly. We anticipate the flows to remain normal for the next few days.

Flooding is possible from 06:45 to 10:45am on 25.10.2025. Areas most at risk are around Hunstanton seafront. Flood gates in the area will be closed by the Local Authority which will make access difficult. The detailed forecast is for a peak level at King's Lynn of 3.74mAODN at 08:45am on Saturday 25 which is 0.67m above tide tables, wind force 7, north westerly direction. Tides will remain high over the next couple of days. We are liaising with emergency services and local authorities . Avoid beaches and coastal promenades, which may be flooded . Flooding is expected along the coastal frontage at Eyemouth. There is a risk of waves overtopping the sea defences at Eyemouth. Businesses near to the harbour and vessels moored within the harbour may be at risk. Flooding impacts are expected around the time of high tide at 4.15 am (BST) on Saturday 25th October 2025.
