It all started here for Terry Rozier.
The NBA veteran was arrested Thursday for allegedly tipping off a group of wise guys that he was going to leave a March 23, 2023 game early with an injury when he was a member of the Hornets.
Here’s a look at the moments leading up until Rozier left the game.
Rozier started the game against the Pelicans that night and appeared to be aggressive, pulling down a couple of rebounds and dishing out an assist while missing a three-point field goal in the first few minutes of the contest.
Just before the halfway mark, Rozier hit his first basket of the game — a 15-footer from around the free throw line.

That’s where the first sign of alleged trouble came.
As he ran back on defense, Rozier appeared to reach down and grab at his ankle or foot as he waited for the Pelicans to get into their offense.
A few minutes of gametime later, Rozier’s night would be over.

With just under three minutes left in the frame, Rozier made a pass to Larry Nance Jr., who missed a bunny shot, from beyond the three-point line in what would be the final time he touched the ball that night.
On the ensuing possession, Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram hit a deep ball to put the Hornets down 33-20, leading to a Charlotte timeout.
Rozier, near the basket as the ball went through the hoop, appeared to walk off the court slowly.
He came out of the game during the timeout and did not return, finishing the contest with five points on 2-of-4 shooting with four rebounds, two assists and a steal in nine minutes and 34 seconds of play.
At the time, the team reported that Rozier left the game with a sore right foot.
The defendants are accused of throwing down more than $200,000 on the Unders for his prop bets that night, winning tens of thousands of dollars in profit.
