Many people on our platform actively participate in this mission by curating Flipboard Magazines and Storyboards and commenting on others\u2019 stories, which empowers people to gain a deeper understanding of what they care about the most. Undisclosed AI Content<\/b><\/p>\n

Articles or other content created with artificial intelligence (AI) is allowed on Flipboard provided that the publisher prominently discloses the use of AI. Our prohibitions on misinformation also apply, and we hope publishers include humans in the editing and fact-checking of any AI content. Flipboard may take steps to limit any AI-generated content that is false, harmful or otherwise degrading to our platform.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hateful content<\/strong><\/p>\n

• Content that attacks, marginalizes, or dehumanizes a group of people or an individual because of their race, religion, disability, ethnicity, disease, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, financial means, immigration status, or political party affiliation. This includes but is not limited to using slurs, epithets, tropes, conspiracy theories, or misinformation.<\/li>\n
• Content that contains name-calling, abusive insults, bullying, harassing, stalking, trolling, or is considered likely to disrupt, provoke, or attack others.<\/li>\n
• Content that threatens or glorifies violence.<\/li>\n
• Links to websites with hateful content.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Objectionable content<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Content that is pornographic, sexually explicit, obscene, or contains nudity intended to titillate.<\/li>\n
  • Content that is vulgar, utilizes profanity, or is otherwise offensive.<\/li>\n
  • Content that is violent or cruel.<\/li>\n
  • Content that contains graphically violent, abusive, or gory images.<\/li>\n
  • Content that promotes or glorifies self-mutilation, eating disorders, physical abuse, or drug abuse.<\/li>\n
  • Content that is deemed to be off-topic.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Misinformation<\/strong><\/p>\n

    • Content that misrepresents information about public health and safety.<\/li>\n
    • Content that misrepresents information related to elections and voting.<\/li>\n
    • Content that contains digitally manipulated video or images.<\/li>\n
    • Content which contains information or conspiracy theories that has been debunked.<\/li>\n
    • Content that impersonates a person, group, brand, or business.<\/li>\n
    • Flipboard forbids anyone to misrepresent their affiliation with any person or entity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Spam<\/strong><\/p>\n

      • High-volume or repetitive posts: Content published at excessive frequency, copy-pasted across multiple feeds or comments, or using deceptive redirects or unapproved promotions is considered spam<\/span>.<\/li>\n
      • Misleading clickbait: While click-driven headlines are common, content that fails to deliver on what its headline or image promises can create a poor experience and may be limited in distribution.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Content manually copied and pasted across comment sections.<\/li>\n
      • Unapproved content that advertises products or services for profit or gain.<\/li>\n
      • Content that contains deceptive web redirects.<\/li>\n
      • Content that qualifies as phishing, that might abuse or present a security threat to Flipboard or Flipboard users.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Unethical and Illegal content<\/strong><\/p>\n

        • Flipboard has zero tolerance for child pornography or exploitation. We report any instances to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), who works closely with law enforcement.<\/li>\n
        • Content that condones or encourages unlawful activity.<\/li>\n
        • Content that involves defamation or contempt of court.<\/li>\n
        • Content that infringes on intellectual property, copyright, or trademark rights.<\/li>\n
        • Content that depicts or promotes unwanted sexual contact or touching.<\/li>\n
        • Content that promotes illegal drugs, firearms, or explosives.<\/li>\n
        • Content that markets prostitution or escort services.<\/li>\n
        • Content that displays personal information such as phone numbers and\/or postal or email addresses.<\/li>\n
        • Content that contains links to other websites that violate our Community Guidelines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Take It Down Act<\/b>
