It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Prof Pierre Hainaut, who sadly passed away while hiking in the mountains of Italy on July 31, 2025, at the age of 67. Prof Hainaut was an exceptional biologist, internationally recognized for his work on cancer, and in particular on the p53 protein. Read the obituary here.
