RFID BASED OBJECT DETECTIONRFID BASED OBJECT DETECTION
Numerous computing applications depend on the ability to
locate objects as a key functionality. We show that Radio
Frequency Identification (RFID) technology can be used to
achieve object detection in an inexpensive, reliable, flexible,
and scalable manner. We outline the challenges that can affect
RFID-based detection techniques, and propose practical
solutions. We present several new algorithms for RFID-based
object detection that compare favorably with terms of
accuracy, speed, reliability, scalability, and cost.

RFID TAG (RFID TAG (RRadioadio FFrequencyrequency IDIDentification)entification)
RFID card is simply a plastic card
with an RFID inside. RFID cards
contain an RFID chip to transmit
information to a reader without
having to be swiped through a reader
instead, they need only to be passed
within range of a radio frequency
acceptor to read information from
the chip.
BAND: 125 kHz (LF)
RANGE: 10cm
SPEED: LOW
RFID READER:RFID READER:
 Frequency:125 kHz
 Speedy reading of tags/cards.
 LED indicators for power and reading display.
 5V operated.
 9600 Baud rate.

AlgorithmAlgorithm
• Step 1: Pass the RFID card above the reader
• Step 2: 12 digit RFID number will be compare to
the number which is already loaded inside the
Arduino kit.
• Step 3: If difference of comparison is zero then
go to step 4 otherwise go to step 3.
• Step 4: display the object name on LCD screen.
