Antique gold locket necklace for anniversary

A lovely antique 14k Gold Filled locket, beautiful for its age. This is a prime example, beautifully designed and elegant in its simplicity. The front is etched in a classic antique design, embellished with vertical striping flourishes. Made by B.A. Ballou (BAB), the company was founded in the 1890s and is still in operation today. This is a gorgeous Victorian era gold-plated locket with two different engravings on each side. One side has a ribbon and lily of the valley, a common motif in mourning jewelry. The other side has little flowers and a striped pattern. Unfortunately, the original contents are missing, and these may have been photos, hair, or both.
