This exquisite ballgown is light, comfortable, and intricately designed. This Victorian/Civil War Era ballgown is nothing less than magical when danced in. The pleat work took countless hours of intensive concentration, which paid off. This ballgown is made from 100% Dupioni silk, and a cotton lining for comfort and functonality. As you can see from the pictures, this two piece can be dressed up or down. You may also wear this to a more modern party. I made a modern bodice to go with this. The modern top is included with this purchase. Dress fits sizes 2-4 as is, but it has an extra length panel in the back for extra ease and coverage. The skirt may also be adjusted.
