Kulfi is an Indian style ice cream. It is a popular street food in India that I loved eating growing up. It never occurred to me that it can be made at home until I moved to the US and had a craving for it.
Kulfi comes in a wide variety of flavors. This recipe is flavored with mango purée and is one of my family favorites. These popsicles are easy to make and do not need an ice cream maker or churning. All you need is a ice pop/ popsicle mold.
Cornstarch prevents the formation of icicles and makes this frozen mango kulfi very creamy and decadent.
