INGREDIENTS  • ▢ 4 cups desiccated coconut or coconut powder  • ▢ 1 cup whole milk  • ▢ 1 cup heavy whipping cream  • ▢ 1 cup sugar adjust to taste  • ▢ ½ teaspoon cardamom powder  • ▢ ½ teaspoon rose water  • ▢ 2 drops red food color optional, for pink layer  • ▢ 6 edible silver leaves optional, for garnish  • ▢ 12-15 pistachios roughly chopped  • ▢ dry rose petals optional for garnish

400g (2.5 cups) grated or ground fresh coconut. I used 2 fresh coconuts and removed the brown skin before grinding. 

1.25 litres whole milk

150g (¾ cup) caster sugar or to taste

2 tbsp slivered pistachios

1 tbsp slivered almonds

1 tbsp ghee

1 tsp cardamom powder

½ tsp grated nutmeg

a pinch of saffron

Ingredients  • Fresh Grated Coconut 1 Cup  • Desicated Coconut  1 Cup  • Sugar  1 Cup  • Boiled Potatoes 2 medium  • Ghee /Clarified Butter 2tbsp  Method:  • Take a Big Bowl, add Fresh Grated Coconut 1 Cup, Desicated Coconut  1 Cup, Sugar  1 Cup, Boiled Potatoes 2 medium (mashed), mix all the ingredients nicely.  • Take a Kadai add Ghee /Clarified Butter 2tbsp, also add the above mixture, nicely stir fry the mixture well till it becomes dry, once the mixture dries up it will the edges of the kadai, means it is done.  • Now take a plate, remove the dry mixture on a plate and take a flat plate which bottom should be grease with Ghee /Clarified Butter, with the help of plate bottom flat the dry mixture (as shown in the photo).  • Once the mixture cools little make cuts (as shown in the pho
