Vegan Pistachio Maamoul🥮

 • Ingredients:
 • Dough:
 • • 2 ¼ cups flour
 • • 3 cups + 3 tbsps fine semolina
 • • 2 sticks of plant-based butter, softened
 • • ¼ cup plant-based milk
 • • ¼ cup orange blossom water
 • • 1 ½ tsps baking powder
 • • ¾ cup powdered sugar (optional, I didn’t add sugar)
 • • 1 tsp mahlab (optional)
 • Pistachio Filling
 • • 1 cup ground pistachio
 • • ¼ cup cane sugar (adjust to taste)
 • • 4 tbsps orange blossom water
 • Instructions:
 • 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Place greased butter paper on a large cookie sheet.
 • 2. Mix all the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
 • 3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry batter. Mix the dough with your hands until it turns into a grainy dough ball.
 • 4. Break off some dough and roll it to form a 2” ball. Use your
