Easy reading tips that work! ⁣ ⁣1️⃣ Write the word, read each sound and using your finger (or the child's finger) read from left to right. This is a great way to practice blending words together. REALLY exaggerate blending the sounds and have the child repeat you! ⁣ ⁣2️⃣ Using sticky notes, write letters down that make up words (eg: hat, mat). Have the child sound out each letter and put them in the right order. Then have them read the word again (very important step!). ⁣ ⁣3️⃣ Under each letter, roll some play dough and push it down as they read each letter. ⁣ ⁣4️⃣ Lastly, STAMP IT! Kids LOVE stamps!
