Who here has made an amazing Bundt cake only for it to be ruined by a stuck pan?? Well follow these tips so you can have a flawless cake every time 💪 

1) Use the shortening and flour method. Just pan spray is not enough and butter will actually cause more sticking due to the milk solids and lower melting temperature. 

2) If you’re using fresh or frozen fruit, toss in flour right before adding to the batter. The flour prevents the fruit from sinking and sticking to the bottom. I also will add the fruit after adding 1/4-1/3 of the batter into the pan.

3) Right after the pan comes out of the oven, use a knife or small offset spatula to release the sides from the pan. 

4) 10 minutes after its come out of the oven, lightly bang on the table to release, then invert onto a cooling rack.

One of those old-school secrets that just works every single time. No stress, no mess, and definitely no cake sticking to the pan!

Just mix equal parts (1:1:1 by volume) of shortening, vegetable oil, and flour (I use cocoa powder instead of flour when I’m baking a chocolate cake).
Pop it all in a blender and emulsify until smooth or whisk it if you prefer! 
Brush it on your pans, bake as usual, and once your cake is fully cooled - it’ll slide right out like magic.
