Ingredients:

1 cup urad dal

3 cups rice (idli/parboiled rice)

1 tsp fenugreek seeds

Salt to taste

Water as needed

Oil or ghee

Steps:

Soak urad dal + fenugreek seeds & rice separately for 4–6 hours.

Grind urad dal to smooth, fluffy batter. Grind rice slightly coarse.

Mix both batters, add salt. Ferment overnight (8–10 hrs).

Heat tawa, pour 1 ladle batter, spread in circles to form round dosa.

Drizzle oil/ghee around. Cook until crisp/golden brown.

Serve hot with chutney or sambar.

 • 1 ½ Cup Sona masuri Rice 
 • ¼ Tsp Urad Dal ( Skinless split black gram )
 • 1 Tsp Channa Dal ( Split Chickpeas )
 • 1 Tsp Fenugreek seeds ( Methi Seeds )
 • ½ Cup Curd ( Dahi )
 • 1 Tbsp Poha ( flattened rice )

 • ¼ Tsp Oil ( Drizzle )
