Winter special Badam Ka Halwa🤤

 • Ingredients-
 • 100g Ghee
 • 50g Wheat flour/ Gehu ka Atta
 • 50-60 soaked Almond/ 50-60 bhigi hui Badam
 • 20g Poppy seeds/ Khas khas k beej
 • 100-120g Sugar/ Chini (or acc to taste)
 • 150ml Milk/ Doodh
 • 1tsp Cardamom Powder/ elaichi powder
 • 20-22 saffron strands/ Kesar k dhaage
 • Chopped Pistachios/ Kati hui Pista
 • .
 • Process
 • Soak Almonds overnight or at least 4-5 hours.

Peel them and transfer to a mixer grinder, along with almond add 10 mins soaked Poppy seeds.

Add milk required for grinding a smooth paste and grind everything.

Now heat Ghee and add Wheat flour, after roasting it for 2 mins add Almond paste and roast it too until it turns golden brown in colour.

 • 1/2 cup almonds/ Badam
 • 1/4 cup ghee
 • 1 tbsp wheat flour/ atta
 • 1/2 cup milk
 • 1/4 cup sugar
 • 1 tsp Saffron soaked in hot water
 • 1/4 tsp Elaichi powder
 • Sliced pistachios for garnish

- Soak almonds in hot water for 3 hours. Peal the skin and coarse grind without adding any water.
 • - In a heavy bottom pan add ghee. Once the ghee melts add atta.
 • - Cook over medium heat for about a minute and add the ground almonds paste.
 • - Cook over medium low heat stirring continuously until the colour changes to golden brown.
 • - Add milk little at a time and keeping cooking until the mixture thickens and ghee oozes out.
 • - Add sugar, saffron water and elaichi powder. Mix well and cook for 2 more minutes over medium heat.
