Nature Index 2025 Immunology
Advanced tools are giving researchers unprecedented insight into the human immune system. But progress in immunology — including vaccine development — is under threat from funding cuts and other challenges. As cases of infectious diseases such as measles and tuberculosis increase, researchers are racing to develop solutions that can protect vulnerable populations and preserve hard-won gains.
