Current Status
Four stations are complete: College Park, Inman Park/Reynoldstown, Kensington, and Oakland City. West End and Chamblee Stations are in progress, but completion is postponed due to funding. An updated construction schedule will be shared as soon as it’s available.

RIDER ALERT: BROOKHAVEN PAVING
MARTA will temporarily close the West (Peachtree Road) parking lot from Monday, October 20 – Tuesday, October 21, 2025, for repaving. The lot is expected to reopen on Wednesday, October 22 (weather permitting). The City of Brookhaven is covering the cost of repaving after construction for its new City Hall damaged the lot.
- All vehicles must be removed from the West Lot by Sunday, October 19. Daily parking at Brookhaven is limited to 24 hours.
- Please use the East Lot (accessible from Apple Valley Road)
- ADA Parking: Temporary ADA spaces will be available in the East Lot via the Apple Valley Road entrance.
- Mobility Shuttle: A continuous shuttle will run during MARTA service hours between the East Lot (tunnel entrance) and the bus bay. Please allow an extra 10 minutes for travel.
- The West faregates will remain open for pedestrian access only.
- Bus and Rail service will not be affected.

Project Overview
MARTA is making improvements to parking lots at seven stations. Besides paving, we’re improving ADA access, crosswalks, sidewalks, adding more ADA parking spaces, upgrading to LED lighting, landscaping, and more.
Parking, pedestrian access, and potentially bus access may be affected at the stations listed below while upgrades are made. At this time, we expect the number of spaces at each station to meet the current needs of our customers throughout the projects. All stations will have parking available during repaving.
