Project Overview
MARTA is renovating Garnett Station as part of its State of Good Repair Program. Garnett Station opened in 1981, and, after more than 40 years of wear and tear, existing pavers are in immediate need of repair to ensure a safe, accessible, and positive experience for customers. New pavers are also easier to clean, replace, and maintain long-term.
The total budget for Garnett Station Rehabilitation is $9.9 million. The six-week Skip Stop will save about 14 months of construction time and $5 million.
