Gosh! 21 goals tonight, the Championship really has delivered.

It's not over yet though as Wednesday sees eight more teams try and match the entertainment of tonight.

Watford boss Javi Gracia returns to Vicarage Road chasing his first win, while basement side Sheffield Wednesday host a tough challenge in Middlesbrough.

Will Liam Manning be able to follow along still in charge of Norwich City? Time will tell but you'll know we will be there to guide you through every moment.

    See you then!

  3. 'A waiting game for Wednesday'published at 22:40 BST 21 October

Sheff Wed v Middlesbrough (Wed, 20:00 BST)

    Sheffield Wednesday

The situation at Sheffield Wednesday has become a waiting game. HMRC is yet to serve a winding-up petition to the club but that is expected at any time.

Things will develop in the next 24 hours because all PAYE payments for the prior month's wages fall on the 22nd. Therefore, Wednesday's debt to HMRC - the source of the anticipated winding-up petition - will grow.

On top of this, another pay day for players and staff is on the horizon.

This has already been a hugely challenging period for people working at the club and the continued uncertainty over their wages is a bleak, horrible, monthly event.

Norwich City captain Kenny McLean also spoke to BBC Radio Norfolk:

"It's the same old story, not ruthless enough in one box and give away a cheap goal.

"We didn't show enough bravery to get back in the game - everything was good in the first half but as soon as there was pressure on us it seemed to go.

"We keep talking about responsibility, accountability, but we don't see enough of it - it's the same old story and we keep saying we'll be better and do this and that but it's just words isn't it?

"Sarge (Josh Sargent) hasn't scored for a few games and it shows how much we rely on him but you can't rely on one guy - someone has to take the pressure off his shoulders.

"The position we are in is on us, I feel the fans' frustration and anger and right now we're not doing enough."

Norwich boss Liam Manning has just stepped out to talk to BBC Radio Norfolk:

"You have to come in ahead at half-time. The performance in the first half was outstanding but you have to take your chances.

"Then you give away a soft goal and hit the post - it's just where we are at the moment.

"When you're so dominant but don't take your chances the longer it goes on the more anxious and nervous the lads get."

    On his future:

"Everyone wants results, I joined the club to drive and push it forward.

"I think there's a realism of where we're at and the goals that left in the summer it was never going to be a smooth, easy one.

"While we keep losing games I'm going to keep being asked these questions so until I'm told different I'll keep working and pushing the lads to get better."

The Lions haven't been in the top flight since 1990.

  9. 'Nothing not to like about tonight'published at 22:31 BST 21 October

    FT: Millwall 2-0 Stoke

    Millwall

Millwall boss Alex Neil speaking to BBC Radio London:

"I thought it was really strong. We played against a good side, I think they've conceded the least goals in the Championship this season and we managed to score two and could have scored more.

"I thought defensively, we were really strong. I thought we carried a threat throughout the match.

"There's nothing not to like about tonight. The fans were excellent tonight, they got right behind the team.

"During the week when it's a Tuesday night, it's important that they come here and support the lads. That certainly helped us when we starting to tire."

More from Frank Lampard to BBC CWR on Brandon Thomas-Asante:

"He works so hard, he's got so much good energy about him.

"You move him around and nothing changes. You can see his talent, the baseline is a talent, but what he's doing to maximise that at the minute is getting him big results.

"He's taken himself to a level of play where people are talking about him and he needs to keep going with that."

  13. 'The lads are the ones doing it'published at 22:23 BST 21 October

    FT: Portsmouth 1-2 Coventry

    Coventry

Coventry City boss Frank Lampard speaking to BBC CWR:

"It was a very good three points. It's a really tough place to come. They beat Middlesbrough who were top, we felt the pain last year of coming here; good team, can give you problems.

"When we change system a bit, you need focus. And with the two day turnaround we've had, it was a lot work but they went out and implemented it great.

"The only thing was that last minute because we probably should have two goals, the way were playing, we were looking so, so dangerous every time we attacked.

"I'm really pleased with the lads, they're the ones doing it. So it was a really good night for us to win the game."

Derby have their first home win of the season to the relief of boss John Eustace who has been talking to BBC Radio Derby:

"I'm very proud of the effort of the group.

"We said we'd have to suffer at times against a very good possession side but we probably suffered too much.

"To come in at half time 0-0 was great and the change in shape we made with the personnel change was great and we had three or four great changes to score more goals.

"It's going to be a long difficult season and tonight is a good marker on that if we all stick together through thick and thin and keep going."
