Is that a snowflake on the jug? Day 6 of our advent calendar is Ben Nicholson's 'Jug and Two Mugs', 1928 (circa) which is currently on show in Horizons at the Jerwood Gallery.
It's day 5 of the advent calendar and the Mill Road Winter Fair! The Fair is known for its special charm and atmosphere with over 10,000 people participating in different ways and enjoying all that the Mill Road area has to offer. It's an event created and run by people from the Mill Road area with almost everyone joining in; community groups, faith centres, businesses, entertainers, residents and visitors. Events to look out for this year include a Christmas Pudding Race on Parker's Piece, circus workshops, a wild life walk and Mill Road History Project plus all the regular events and activities; the parade, market and craft stalls, live music, dance and food fair. www.millroadwinterfair.org/
