Don’t forget the clocks change in the UK tomorrow. Find out more about some of the beautiful time pieces in the royal residences on the Royal Collection Trust Facebook Page.

'This watch by Thomas Mudge incorporates the earliest known example of the lever escapement, which is why this watch has been described as 'perhaps the most historically important watch in the world'. As such this watch is the forerunner of almost all modern wrist and pocket watches. In addition this was the first pocket watch to have an automatic device for compensating changes in temperature - http://bit.ly/1OCg8Rr'
'The Queen was presented with this Cartier desk clock on her birthday in 1932. What makes this clock particularly striking is the bright colours including the three carved nephrite owls, the lapis lazuli plinth and the mother of pearl dial - http://bit.ly/1E9tT7f'
'What do you like best about this Floor Standing Clock? Is was presented to The Duke of York and Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon as a wedding gift on 26 April 1923 - http://bit.ly/1Gx5zfc'
'This magnificent and large-scale table clock was created by renowned clockmaker, John Pyke, who was particularly well known for his complex mechanisms which combined music-making and machinery. This clock was recently on display as part of our #FirstGeorgians exhibition at #QueensGallery London - http://bit.ly/1Gx5vMz'
Royal Collection Trust added 6 new photos to the album: #SpringForward.

This weekend is one of the busiest times of year for the horological conservators who look after the hundreds of time pieces throughout the royal residences. As... we get ready for daylight saving time in the UK, the team begin the process of changing the clocks today so that they are all adjusted by Sunday evening. Take a look through this selection of some of the spectacular time pieces within the Royal Collection.
